Purple Dog was a Finalist in the 2019 Brilliance in Business Awards.
Back in September Bingo and I received an email from the New Forest Business Partnership inviting us to submit further information about the business as we had been nominated for an award - Outstanding Customer Care.
Outstanding Customer Service Award sponsored by New Forest District Council
The award criteria was:
For businesses who recognise the importance of the customer in growing their business. Successful entrants will demonstrate how analysis and response to ‘customer needs’ have assisted in developing a growing business.
The award was won in 2018 by Forest Foot & Health Clinic - so we had big shoes to fill!
So after cobbling together a last minute submission (we were on holi-dogs in Wales at the time) the submit button was pressed and we thought nothing more of it.
A couple of weeks later an email arrived informing us that we had been shortlisted and were invited to an informal interview on Monday 21 October at New Forest District Council HQ in Lyndhurst.
The other finalists in our category were:
New Forest Activities (Beaulieu) and Clearview Aerials (Hythe).
To view all of the finalists/winners visit the NFBP website.
Sadly we couldn't make the awards evening on the 28 November at Beaulieu Motor Museum due to unforeseen circumstances.
However, we were absolutely delighted to have been nominated and thrilled for Clearview Aerials who took home the prize.

We love our finalist certificate!
Here is Bingo reenacting looking surprised as he is presented with the award as he comes out from his lunchtime dip!
It now takes pride of place in our New Forest office at IncuHive.
We'd just like to say a huge thank you to all of our clients without which there would be no Purple Dog!
