You can now create a post for your Instagram Feed with the option to give your followers notification reminders about an event. With the “Add Reminder” feature, your followers can tap on a small bell icon to see event details and ops them into getting reminders.
How to Add a Reminder to an Instagram Feed Post
Here’s how to do it:
- Create a new Instagram feed post.
- On the New Post page, below your caption select Add Reminder.
- Include all relevant event information, like your Event Title and start time. Then, hit Done.
When someone opts-in to receive a reminder for your event, they’ll get sent:
- An activity feed notification 24 hours before the event
- An activity feed and push notification 15 minutes before the event
- An activity feed and push notification when the event is starting
